BIB NUMBER AND LATE REGISTRATION
The bib number is personal and it must be attached to the front of the running shirt visibly. In any case the bib number should not be folded.
You will get a text message / mail about your own number, Please show that document for the staff when picking up your race-kit. You can also pick up your friend’s kit by showing their message/mail.
We recommend you to pick up your race-kit on Friday is possible.
The race office timetables will be announced closer to event.

We offer 15 % discount for groups with 5 persons or more. You’ll get group discount by making registration on group registration form. The offer is valid for the limited time. Group discount cannot be combined with any other discounts.
Are you 25-years-old (born 1995 or later) or younger? We’ll offer you 25 % discount for registration fee, just add code HKI10NUORISO2020 to registration form. The offer is valid for the limited time. Youth discount cannot be combined with any other discounts.
The bag drop is free for all the runners and it’s open on the race day.
All your belongings must fit in the special bag, that you get when picking up you BIB-number. Remember to mark you bib-number on the sticker that you will attach on the string of the bag.
The belongings can be left on the bag drop at the start where from they will be transferred to the event expo area/finish line area.

There will be two hydration stations along the course of Helsinki10. One on around 4 km point on Hernesaari and the other one around 8 km point in Ruoholahti.
MAXIMUM RUNNING TIME
Helsinki10 has maximum running time of one hour and fourty minutes (1h 40 min). If runner can’t keep the pace, we can not unfortunately guarantee timing and service at the route for the runner.
We had a nice range of pacemakers also at Helsinki10 year 2020! Faster pacers will run the grosstime, so their time starts exactly at 11.00. Slower pacers run net-time so they will begin when they cross the starting line. Pacers are marked well.

The top 3 in Open Category of Men and Women and the winner of age-series will be awarded.
At the finish all the Helsinki10 runners will receive the Helsinki10 exclusive medal.
Any runner who is one of the top overall finishers in the Helsinki10 Open Category, will be entitled to Prize Money:
- 400 EUR
- 250 EUR
- 150 EUR
The amounts will be cut half, if the times are: Men over 31.00 minutes/Women 35.00 minutes. Men over 33.00 minutes and Women over 38.00 minutes are not entitled to the prize money.
We are using live result-feed in this event. Link will be published closer to event.
The Participant agrees to comply with the organizers’ rules and instructions on the day of the competition.
Helsinki10 series based on the rules of Finnish Athletics Federation and IAAF are: Men General, Women General, and age groups 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60 for both men and women. Runners are placed in the age groups automatically based in their birth date. The general series includes all runners. Besides there is a series for other-gender.

TIMING AND TIMING CHIP
Timing is organized by chip timing. Timing chip is placed to the bib number. Each runner must draw the bib on the front of the shirt and it must be displayed in the shirt throughout the race. The bib must not be folded. There is no need to return the chip after the race. Every runner will receive gross and net times.

CANCELLING YOUR PARTICIPATION
No cancellations of participation are required.
TRANSFER OF PARTICIPATION
It is possible to transfer your participation to
1. Next Helsinki10 (24.4.2021)
With a medical certificate transfer to the next year’s race is possible against a transfer fee of 5 EUR until 5.9.2020. After that transfer fee is 10 EUR. Transfer has to be made no later than 22.9.2020.
2. Another person
You can transfer your participation to another person (until 22.9.2020). After transfer request your registration will be cancelled, and you will get a discount code worth the same amount of money you paid for your registration, and that discount code can be used when new person will make a registration. If the registration fee is less than 5 € higher when the transfer request is made, then discount code will be 5 € less than the current registration fee.
Note: Registration paid with sport vouchers cannot be transferred to another person.
3. Another event
You can also transfer the entry for another #werunhelsinki event year 2020 (until 22.9.2020). After the transfer request your registration will be cancelled, and you will get a discount code worth the same amount of money you paid for your registration, and that discount code can be used when new person will make a registration. If the registration fee for the event in question is less than 5 € higher when the transfer request is made, then discount code will be 5 € less than the current registration fee.
How can I transfer my participation?
When transferring your participation to another event or person, or to next year, please contact info (a) helsinkihalfmarathon.fi with following information:
- Name of the original participant
- Name of the person who will make the new registration (if participation will be transferrer to another person)
- To which event trasfer will be made
After the transfer request you will get more detailed instructions by email.
If the event has to be cancelled or it cannot be organized due to force majeure, the organizer is not liable for any delays or damages that are caused by the cancellation or postponement of the event due to force majeure. Force majeure is an event or occurrence beyond the control of the organizer which the organizer could not reasonably be expected to have taken into account at the time of the conclusion of the contract or to have avoided or overcome it or its consequences. Force majeure comprehends both natural disasters and events such as civil unrest, risk to general safety, orders of public authorities or other superior force that prevents the organizing of the event.
EVENT POSTPONEMENT AND TRANSFER OF THE PARTICIPATION RELATED TO THAT
We are following Finnish government’s and Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare’s (THL) guidelines to cancel all the public events over 500 participants until the end of July due to coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic. Therefore we sincerely regret to say that we have to postpone our Helsinki10 event that should have been taken place on 25.4.2020. New date for the event is 26.9.2020. We recommend you to let us move your participation to the new date, or – if you cannot participate the event 26.9.2020 – to the next year’s event which will be held in 24.4.2021. If you are okay with moving your participation to 26.9.2020 you don’t need to do anything, because we have automatically moved your registration to that date. Moving your participation to 2021 event has to be done via link you’ve received by email (link is sent to all participants who have registered for the even by 23.4.2020), and there is no transfer fee until 30.5.2020. If you haven’t received the email with the link, or if you don’t want to move your participation to Autumn 2020 or Spring 2021 events, or if you have any questions regarding the events, please contact our customer service (see contact information here). Helsinki10 2020 will be held in 26.9.2020 following the instructions given by authorities.

INSURANCE AND PARTICIPANT LIABILITY
Participants will run at their own responsibility in the event. The organizer has not specifically insure the runners for accidents, injuries or any other situation. Inclusive leisure insurance is recommended for all the participants. First aid is located in the course and in the finish area.
PHOTOS AND VIDEOS TAKING DURING THE EVENT
Event organizers will have full rights to publish the photos and video material taken during the event. We will also release pictures and videos in our social media channels.
