Registration

Pre-registration for 2024 BMW Helsinki10 is open until 20.4.2024. Late registration is possible at the race office on race day.

Distance and age groups

Distance: 10km

Series / age groups: Men, Women, M/W40, M/W50, M/W60, M/W70

In general series (Men and Women) top 3 runners will be awarded, in age group the winners. 

There is also gender option Other.

Event

Race office and bib numbers

You can pick up your race number and late-register for the event in the race office.

 

Bag storage

The bag drop is free for all the runners at the race day.

Timing and timing chip

Timing is organized by chip timing. Timing chip is placed to the bib number. Each runner must draw the bib on the front of the shirt and it must be displayed in the shirt throughout the race. The bib must not be folded. There is no need to return the chip after the race. Every runner will receive gross and net times.

Helsinki10 offers again a great range of pacers at 2023 event.

Pacers will run stable pace at the event targeting to specific finishing times.

Pacers will help you to reach your goal or to maintain steady pace throughout your run.

Event

Race office and bib numbers

Race office will be located at Wanha Satama (address: Pikku Satamakatu 3-5, Helsinki) and is open between 14-22.30.

You can pick up your race number and late-register for the event at the race office on race day between 14-19.30 (please keep in mind that Wanha Satama is located about 1 km from start area)

You will receive email and text message few days before the event, which will give you QR code to pick up your race number at the race day. Please show this message from your phone for the staff at the race office, when you arrive at the race office on Saturday.

Bag storage

The bag drop is free for all the runners and will be located at the event area at Wanha Satama. Bag drop is open between 17-22.30.

All your belongings must fit in the special bag that you get when picking up your BIB-number.  Remember to mark you bib-number with the sticker that you will get from the race office and attach it on the string of the bag.

Hydration, along with other snacks from our partners, is also available at the finish.

Pacers will run stable pace at the event targeting to specific finishing times. Pacers will help you to reach your goal or to maintain steady pace throughout your run.

Paces of pace makers at BMW Helsinki10 2024 are preliminary: 00.40, 00.45, 0.50, 0.52.30, 0.55, 0.57.30, 1.00, 1.05, 1.10, 1.15, 1.20, 1.40.

5000 m / 5 km: 18.15
10000 m / 10 km: 38.15
Half marathon: 1.22.00

To apply for a free registration as an elite runner, please send us an email to info at helsinkihalfmarathon.fi with details about your qualifying result (name of event, your time, link to results). The result must be from an official road or track race in 2023-2024.

Route 2024

In 2024 the route runs along the streets of central Helsinki from Senate Square to Wanha Satama.

Frequently asked questions

Email with race number will be sent to all the registered participants before the race office opens. If you haven’t received the email (remember to check you spam folder as well!), no worries! Race office will find your number also by your name. Just show up to race office to pick up your number, and we are ready to help 🙂

Yes, you can! Just choose ‘sport vouchers’ as payment method after you’ve made the registration, and follow the instructions.
